MOULE POIDS EN BÉTON : Quelle taille choisir ?

CONCRETE WEIGHT MOLD: Which size to choose?

At Venice Weights we offer 3 sizes of molds for making concrete bodybuilding discs for your home gym: the OLYMPIC 20KG 450MM mold, the MEDIUM 10KG 320MM mold and the SMALL 5KG 230MM mold.

First of all, each Venice Weights mold is supplied with metal tubes and reinforcement rings. The tubes are used to create space for and protect the weight bar. We offer two tube sizes, 28mm and 51mm. The rings serve to solidify the weight by acting as reinforcement.

Depending on the weight you want to make and the size of your bar, you can choose different molds. It's important to know that each concrete disc mold allows you to make a lower weight than the one for which it was created. For example, the 20KG mold allows you to make weights ranging from 5KG to 20KG, depending on how full the mold is (less than 5KG would make the weight too thin). The same goes for the 10KG molds, which can make weights from 3KG to 10KG, and the 5KG mold, which can make weights from 1KG to 5KG. So it all depends on what you want to do, and the layout of your home gym. The 450M Olympic-size weights tend to take up more space but are more aesthetically pleasing.

It's possible to exceed the maximum thresholds of 20, 10 and 5KG on the molds by adding rebar, which will make the weight heavier and stronger too.
