MUSCLE BEACH : Nos 5 exercices incontournables

MUSCLE BEACH: Our 5 essential exercises

Venice Beach, the place to be for bodybuilding, this place facing the Pacific that needs no introduction and that strongly inspired Venice Weights for the concept of do-it-yourself concrete weights. If you're familiar with this place, you'll be delighted to discover our 5 must-do exercises to be performed in this temple of bodybuilding (and who knows, why not for your future Instagram posts).

This veritable open-air gym on the beach offers an extraordinary setting so why not sublimate it with some high-flying exercises!

  • The bench press:
    • Yes, we're starting with the great classic, but what could be better than a bench press?
  • The Neck Pull:
    • The aim of the neck pull is to pull a barbell over the head and back behind the neck. An effective exercise for working your back and using the machines available at Venice Beach.
  • Back raises (bird)
    • A perfect exercise for developing massive deltoids and shoulders with dumbbells! A high-amplitude movement reminiscent of the flapping of a bird's wings.
  • The Squat
    • Once again a classic, but we mustn't leave the legs out in the cold. The squat allows you to work with relatively heavy loads and make maximum use of the equipment on the beach.
  • Crunch
    • And yes, because a good sports session always includes abs (you can't escape them!). The end of the session under the Florida sun ends with a crunch, but don't panic, the Pacific Ocean is there to comfort you.

Here, then, is our non-exhaustive list of must-do exercises for the lucky amateurs or enthusiasts who visit this historic site.
